The Washington Wizards will play the Atlanta Hawks at home in their return to action. Washington most recently suffered a 131–128 setback to the Milwaukee Bucks the previous evening. The day before Thanksgiving, the Hawks defeated the Brooklyn Nets in overtime.

The Wizards are officially the second-worst club in the league, just half a game ahead of the Detroit Pistons, despite the Hawks’.500 record. Despite the talent on this roster—especially the younger players—Washington might not finish the season with 25 victories.

Due to a knee contusion, Bilal Coulibaly might not be available for the Wizards. In the away defeat to the Bucks, he was demoted from questionable to out, and he might be out for this one as well. Washington will probably keep an eye on the youngster in the future. Coulibaly has been averaging 3.6 rebounds and 8.4 points per game.
