Stoke set to welcome Halifax to Clayton Wood on Sunday

Stoke City Women will be looking to record back-to-back victories when they welcome Halifax to Clayton Wood on Sunday (2pm kick-off).

The Potters suffered late heartache against third placed Burnley in their last outing despite leading for most of the game in Lancashire.

However, on home soil, goals from top scorer Heidi Logan and Saffron Jordan secured three points for City at Emerys Stadium against Derby County.

Halifax meanwhile are without a win in their last three league games, losing out to West Bromwich Albion two weeks ago.

The game has been moved to Clayton Wood from City’s usual Emerys Stadium with entry free for all supporters.

Those planning on heading down to back the Potters will be allowed into the training ground from 1.30pm ahead of the 2pm kick-off.
