New Tottenham signing spotted

All the latest Tottenham transfer news and gossip including updates on Luka Vuskovic, Dane Scarlett and Tottenham are expected to be one of the busier Premier League clubs in the January transfer window.

Ange Postecoglou is set to be backed in the transfer market once again with a new centre-back among the club’s targets.

Jean-Clair Todibo has been linked with a move to Spurs this month with reports claiming talks are ongoing between the club and player. Luka Vuskovic was in attendance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday to watch Tottenham defeat Everton as the youngster edges closer to joining Postecoglou’s squad.

Dane Scarlett Tottenham return and what it now means for Ange Postecoglou after Ipswich loan

Dane Scarlett looks on course to return to Tottenham Hotspur in January after a frustrating loan spell with Ipswich Town. Spending all pre-season with Spurs and making appearances under Ange Postecoglou in friendlies and the Carabao Cup, a decision was made late in August for the striker to head out on loan to aid his development.

Signing a season-long deal with Ipswich following their promotion from League One, it appeared to be the perfect move for the 19-year-old as he stepped up a division after spending the previous campaign on loan at Portsmouth. Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna had previously waxed lyrical about Scarlett during his Pompey loan spell but the regular playing time the striker wanted with the Championship high-flyers unfortunately never arrived.

With the Tractor Boys very much having a set team after securing promotion to England’s second tier in style, Scarlett has been restricted to 12 appearances off the bench as he was introduced late on in contests. His 45-minute cameo in Tottenham’s Carabao Cup exit at the hands of Fulham also worked against him at Ipswich as he was cup tied for their two cup fixtures at a time when he would have potentially started.

Luka Vuskovic spotted at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for Everton win after completing transfer

Luka Vuskovic was in attendance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday to watch Tottenham defeat Everton 2-1. Signed from Hajduk Split in September in a deal worth £12million, it will be some time before the talented 16-year-old defender is in London on a permanent basis.

Due to FIFA rules, Vuskovic, who stands at 6ft 4ins, will have to wait until he can arrive in England in 2025 when he is 18-years-old. At present, the defender remains with Hajduk and he will be looking to continue his development in his home country before eventually swapping Split for Spurs.

As the Croatian league is currently on pause for their winter break, Vuskovic used the opportunity to go and watch Spurs take on Everton in the Premier League. Taking to his Instagram Stories ahead of the match, Vuskovic could be seen in the stands gazing at the pitch as the players went on their pre-match walk.
