Wrexham are still unbeaten after 2-0 win at Peterborough
WREXHAM secured a 2-0 win against Peterborough United to maintain the unbeaten start to the campaign and climb up to second place in League One.
First half goals from Jack Marriott and Max Cleworth secured another victory for Phil Parkinson’s men who have taken 10 points from their opening four fixtures.
It was an entertaining clash against the Posh, who are managed by former Reds’ captain Darren Ferguson and have reached the play-offs in each of the last two seasons.
But Wrexham took their chances and picked up a first away win of 2024-25 on the back of a goalless draw at Bolton, with the Reds now on the same points tally as leaders Stockport County.
After producing a fantastic performance in the 3-0 home win against Reading the previous weekend to extend the unbeaten start to the season, it was no surprise to see Parkinson name an unchanged side.
There was a place on the substitutes bench for new signing Mo Faal, with the striker joining Wrexham from West Brom for an undisclosed fee on transfer deadline day.
