Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has sent a message to his players ahead of their Premier League clash with Arsenal this weekend
Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp said that his team feels the pressure to win every match due to the threat posed by Manchester City, claiming that even an eight-point lead over City wouldn’t be enough of a safety net.
Klopp knows that if Liverpool win against Arsenal on Sunday they could extend their current lead to eight points before City’s next fixture at Brentford on Monday. But he also warned that City’s impressive track record means there’s no room for mistakes from his team.
“Shall I go to the boys in the dressing room and say, ‘If we win against Arsenal we are eight points between us and them…’? Everybody knows that,” said Klopp.
