WALKS in Wrexham by trained volunteers

WALKS in Wrexham, led by trained volunteers, offer weekly opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and meet new people.

Meet at Caffi Wylfa on Castle Road in Chirk at 9.15am for a 9.30am start. This is an easier/moderate route over 2-2.5 miles avoiding steep hills where possible.

Rossett

Join the regular walkers each week at Burton Weir, Rossett by the underpass (LL12 0JA) at 10.45am for an 11.00am start. An easier walk of about 3 miles on local footpaths and through fields lasting about 60 minutes.

Tuesday

Alyn Waters Country Park, Gwersyllt 

Meet at the Visitor Centre at 10.15am for a 10.30am start (Car park charge £1). This is a more challenging walk over varying terrains in and around the country park.  Graded as moderate/harder depending on the route used, approximately 3-4 miles are covered over about 90-120 minutes.

Meet at Caffi Wylfa, Castle Road at 9.15am for a 9.30am start.  The walks are between 4-5 miles in length and are likely to include stiles, hilly paths and some difficult terrain underfoot. Taken in Carrog during this year's Wrexham Walking Festival
