Wrexham summer signing with ‘great versatility’ has already proven why Phil Parkinson will love him this season

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson has remained consistent throughout the summer transfer window that he wants to strengthen the squad before the League One campaign kicks off in August.

The North Wales side has been busy this transfer window with several players arriving. The Red Dragons have already secured the signings of George Dobson, Arthur Okonkwo, Callum Burton, and Sebastian Revan.

The former Sunderland manager bolstered his defensive options after Wrexham snapped up Leicester City defender Lewis Brunt earlier this summer.

During the Wrex Coast tour, the manager has been pleased with the squad and Parkinson has been impressed by the new Red Dragons’ signings. However, one summer arrival has stood out, showing his quality during the US tour.

Revan has most recently impressed during his loan spell in the Championship at Rotherham United before agreeing to join the Red Dragons.

After securing the defender’s signature, Parkinson was excited about the profile of the player he was adding to his options.

The 56-year-old coach told the official Wrexham club website: “He offers us great versatility because he can play both on the right and the left.”

The former Aston Villa academy star has made an impressive start to life at Wrexham with strong performances on the US tour.

With Hollywood owner Ryan Reynolds in attendance, the 21-year-old scored his first goal for the club against Vancouver Whitecaps.
