Under-21s: Leeds United vs Tottenham Hotspur tonight

U21s Preview: Tottenham Hotspur vs Leeds United

Leeds United Under-21s are back in Premier League 2 action on Monday evening, taking on Tottenham Hotspur Under-21s away from home.

The Whites will travel south to face Spurs, with the game getting underway at 7pm, at the Lamex Stadium which is the home of Sky Bet League One side, Stevenage FC.

Scott Gardner’s team currently sit 17th in the table out of 26 teams, but have played less games than the majority of sides around them.

In contrast, Spurs are top of the league having impressively won eight out of their eight matches up to now, giving them a three point cushion over second placed Fulham.

Leeds played two matches last week, in two separate competitions. A tough match at home to Sparta Prague in the Premier League International Cup saw a narrow defeat, before a last-minute Joe Snowdon winner secured three points away at Colchester United in the Premier League Cup.

Spurs last played against Sunderland away a week previously, in the Premier League Cup. Goals from Jude Soonsup-Bell and Rio Kyerematen saw them add three points to their group tally.

Fans wishing to attend Monday night’s game can do so, with supporter and ticket information further down the page.

This outing will be the last of 2023 for the Whites, who will now no longer be in competitive action until the middle of January.
