Unbelievable Chris Paul stats from games officiated by Scott Foster surface

The continuing feud between referee Scott Foster and Chris Paul has a new chapter. Since then, videos of Paul officiating playoff games for Foster have gone viral. With just a few seconds remaining in the first half of the Warriors vs. Suns game at Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, Paul was abruptly removed from the game.

Foster blew the whistle for a foul, which Paul took issue with. Foster called two technical fouls against the 12-time All-Star in rapid succession as their argument became more heated.

NBA reporter Tom Haberstroh researched the history of the Paul-Foster feud after learning about the most recent developments.

Paul’s postseason games have been officiated by Foster 20 times. Paul’s clubs were favored in 75% of the games, Haberstroh found. But Paul’s teams lost an average of 11.2 points per game and only managed to win 3 of the 20 games they played. It would be difficult to accept that Paul’s record in postseason games overseen by Foster was really an accident.

Following Wednesday’s game, Paul made no secret of the fact that he felt Foster was becoming “personal” with him.

Paul disclosed that he had held a meeting with his former coach Doc Rivers and members of his family. It seems that the sessions did not result in a reconciliation between Paul and Foster.
