West Ham are chasing the signing of Coventry City’s Callum O’Hare and Hull City’s Jacob Greaves.
According to Football Insider, the Hammers are keen to work on bringing the pair into the club quickly this summer.
The London club wants to get started on their transfer business soon, as they are planning a major overhaul behind the scenes.
David Moyes is set to be replaced as manager following the Scot’s decision to not renew his contract.
Julen Lopetegui is expected to take charge of the team for next season, with sporting director Tim Steidten already working on making improvements to the first team squad.
West Ham eyeing Championship duo
Steidten is targeting signings from English football this summer, with West Ham expected to lose multiple homegrown players from their squad.
O’Hare is set to become a free agent following the end of his Coventry contract, with the Hammers planning to make a move to sign the playmaker.
Greaves is still contracted to Hull, with the Tigers reportedly placing a £15 million asking price on the centre-back.
West Ham are hoping to secure a move for both quickly, as they plan for life after Moyes.
O’Hare has impressed during his time with the Sky Blues, and was a key part of the team’s run to the FA Cup semi-final this year.
However, his contract at the CBS Arena has expired, meaning he is free to sign for another club this summer.
O’Hare featured 31 times in the Championship this season, helping the Sky Blues reach ninth place in the table (all stats from Fbref).
He contributed six goals and three assists, as Mark Robins’ side missed out on the play-offs by just nine points.
Meanwhile, Greaves has a contract with the Tigers until the summer of 2026.
The defender was key to Liam Rosenior’s team finishing seventh in the table, playing 43 times in the league as they also narrowly missed out on a top six finish.
