Suns Excited for Another Shot at Lakers

The Phoenix Suns are excited for another opportunity against the Los Angeles Lakers.

After two losses, the Phoenix Suns bounced back with an important win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday to propel them to 12-8 on the regular season thus far.

The win did a few things for Phoenix, as the Suns saw the return of Devin Booker while they also returned to their winning ways.

They also gained some much-needed momentum heading into their Tuesday night matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, a road test that will see both Pacific Division squads battle for a spot in the NBA In-Season Tournament Semifinals in Las Vegas.

It’s a big road matchup for Phoenix, and Booker couldn’t be more excited:

“Missing any game is tough, I am excited for this one. I know they are playing well as of now,” said Booker. “They are back healthy; they have their roster back. It will be a heavyweight match in LA. A lot on the line, winner goes to Vegas. So I think everyone is looking forward to it. It will be fun.”

The Lakers themselves are 12-9 on the season. Suns coach Frank Vogel knows another tough battle awaits after losing their first two matchups against Los Angeles thus far.

Suns-Lakers is set for an 8:00 PM Arizona time tip on Tuesday with TNT carrying the broadcast. The winner of their matchup will face the winner of Kings-Pelicans on Thursday.
