Paul Mullin bagged his 16th league goal of the season as Wrexham eased to a 3-1 win at Grimsby on Saturday. The 29-year-old struck with one of four shots, while he also completed four dribbles on his way to a WhoScored.com rating of 8.59.
4. Callum Camps (Stockport) – 8.76 rating
Stockport reaffirmed their title credentials with a resounding 5-0 win over MK Dons. Callum Camps put in a star player performance having been directly involved in two of five goals. Camps hit the back of the net with one of two shots and provided one assist with one of two key passes. The display marked the 28-year-old’s best rated of the season.
3. Harry Smith (Sutton) – 9.00 rating
Sutton claimed a huge win as they beat Accrington 3-1 on home turf with Harry Smith on hand to net his ninth league goal of the season. Smith got the better of Jack McIntyre with one of three shots, while he was also unfortunate not to add an assist having created three goalscoring opportunities. 17 aerial wins also contributed towards a WhoScored.com rating of 9.00.
2. Andrew Cannon (Wrexham) – 9.08 rating
Of the three goals Andrew Cannon has scored this season, two came in Wrexham’s 3-1 win at Grimsby as the 28-year-old put in a player of the match showing at Blundell Park. Cannon hit the back of the net with both shots, while he also impressed off the ball, too, as he made four tackles, one interception and one clearance.
1. Charlie Lakin (Sutton) – 9.66 rating
Back to the VBS Community Stadium, and Sutton midfielder Charlie Lakin is the League Two player of the week having returned a WhoScored.com rating of 9.66. Lakin registered a hat-trick of assists with three of six key passes and shone off the ball as he made four tackles and four interceptions in a standout showing.
