Manchester United has officially sacked manager Erik ten Hag after a poor run of results this season, most recently a 2-1 loss to West Ham. Despite securing domestic trophies like the Carabao Cup and FA Cup during his tenure, Ten Hag’s position became untenable with the club languishing in 14th place in the Premier League. Ruud van Nistelrooy has stepped in as interim manager while United searches for a permanent replacement.
