According to the Kansas City Police Department, several people suffered injuries after gunfire ignited panic at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade on Tuesday in downtown Kansas City.

The KCPD detained two “armed people.” The Kansas City Fire Department told ABC that one person is dead, and nine others are injured.

Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves later updated the number of those injured during a news conference.
