Ravens’ Top NFL Draft Picks for 2024

This summer, the Baltimore Ravens successfully managed a precarious salary cap position by adding Derrick Henry and tying up guys like Justin Madubuike, Nelson Agholor, and Kyle Van Noy.

But the Ravens lost valuable 2023 players like Patrick Queen, Geno Stone, Jadeveon Clowney, and Kevin Zeitler because they couldn’t afford to keep everyone. Morgan Moses, a starting tackle, was also moved by Baltimore.

Thankfully, the Ravens have the opportunity to rebuild in this week’s selection, and they’ve been successful in the first round lately. The first-round selections in 2022, Kyle Hamilton and Tyler Linderbaum, have both gone on to play in the Pro Bowl, and the early impact was made by 2023 pick Zay Flowers (858 receiving yards, 5 touchdowns).

Once more, Baltimore need to be looking for a rookie who can make an immediate impact. With this

The Ravens could require a new long-term right tackle option now that Moses is out. The good news is that there are multiple offensive line talents in the 2024 draft class that are deserving of a first-round pick.

One of the best tackles available, Tyler Guyton of Oklahoma, is a candidate who may go as high as No. 30. In the most recent three-round mock draft conducted by the Bleacher Report Scouting Department, he was selected for Baltimore.

Although Brandon Thorn of the B/R Scouting Department thought Guyton fit better in Round 1, guard is still a possible necessity.

“Someone who is currently on the roster will probably replace one of those guard places, with the right tackle spot most likely to be addressed via

The right side of Baltimore’s line would benefit greatly from the huge, powerful presence of 6’8”, 322-pound Guyton, who would ideally compliment the backfield that already includes Henry, Lamar Jackson, and Keaton Mitchell.

The Ravens could do much worse than selecting Guyton in the first round if they want to unleash the most unstoppable rushing onslaught in the league in 2024.

After an excellent private workout, Iowa defensive back Cooper DeJean has gained some late pre-draft attention. DeJean broke his fibula in November, but he is healing nicely, and during his workout, he ran an outstanding 4.43 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

This should solidify DeJean’s standing as a first-round talent and demonstrate to teams that he will be ready for the 2024 campaign. Naturally, this implies that Baltimore’s chances of selecting DeJean at No. 30 have probably decreased.

At No. 22, the B/R Scouting Department made fun of DeJeadn in front of the Philadelphia Eagles.

DeJean would be a reasonable target for the Ravens to trade up for if they are interested in a prospect. Being one of the best defensive athletes in this class, he can immediately affect coordinator Zach Orr’s defense because of his positional versatility.

DeJean may someday be the elite cornerback that Baltimore needs to complement Marcus Peters. Nonetheless, the Ravens don’t usually throw their rookies into games too soon, and DeJean’s versatility would let him play early in a more rotational role.

In the long run as well as for 2024, DeJean would be a huge asset to the Ravens.
