Pep Guardiola called ‘one of the best’ could now replace Moyes at West Ham

Moyes has overseen a run of seven games without a win across all competitions, with the most recent outing seeing West Ham lose

6-0 against Arsenal at the London Stadium.

Now – according to the Telegraph – Moyes is facing a fight to keep his job ahead of crucial clashes against Nottingham Forest, Brentford, Everton and Burnley in the Premier League.

It is said that the 60-year-old is almost certain to be sacked if positive results are not obtained from at least some of these games.

The man from Solihull did a tremendous job at Brighton, building a platform for Roberto De Zerbi to carry the Seagulls into the UEFA Europa League after installing an attractive style of football at the Amex Stadium.

Potter has overseen 41 wins from 142 Premier League games – with Pep Guardiola even calling the Englishman “one of the best” managers in the country.

The Spaniard was quoted by Manchester City’s official website as saying: “No one has success from day one or two, I have a lot of admiration for his work. What he did at Brighton was beyond exceptional and I’m pretty sure with time he will do a good job, I don’t have any doubts.

Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as West Ham could approach Potter if Moyes continues to struggle.
