How Man United’s late Michael Olise swoop offered Palace an interesting deal

Didier Deschamps will be kicking himself for not naming Michael Olise in the France squad for the Euros this summer as his France side hasn’t scored in either game played, with an own goal winning them the game vs Austria.

But Olise will end up in Germany this summer anyway as he’s agreed to join Bayern Munich with the Bavarian giants winning a hotly contested race for his signature.

It’ll see Crystal Palace pocket £55 million from the move as Olise will more than double his wage with a 120% rise to £220,000-per-week. The sale will do wonders for Palace’s budget this summer, and we expect an exciting replacement to be signed.

Friday night brought the news that Olise had accepted a move to Bayern Munich and now it’s been reported two other clubs made late approaches for the 22-year-old.

According to The Mirror, both Manchester United and Manchester City actually made last-minute bids for Olise before he agreed to move to Bayern.
