Kobbie Mainoo has given his verdict on Manchester United’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League after a draw against Liverpool.
Mainoo scored as the Red Devils drew 2-2 with Liverpool at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday. It leaves them 11 points behind both Tottenham and Aston Villa who are locked together on 60 points in fourth and fifth place in the table respectively.
United are in sixth place with a game in hand on Unai Emery’s Villa, but have played the same number of matches as Spurs. Speaking to BBC MOTD, Mainoo said: “I mean there is a lot of important games coming up for us, we have to try our hardest and come together as a group.”
