Nikola Jokic is one of the most talented players in the NBA; some even say he might be the best player in the world.
Last Tuesday, the two-time MVP added another entry to his resume: starring in a sophisticated yet comedic commercial.
The Serbian Denver Nuggets center and his fellow teammate Peyton Watson were featured in two commercials for the Hotels.com brand.
The first one featured Jokic’s obsession with ponies. The best players deserve the best treatment in any of the hotels they’ll be staying in. Though Hotels.com did subtly warn at the bottom of their ad that “Hotel pet policy is on a horse-by-horse basis.” Nonetheless, Jokic assured the fans that Hotels.com is very pet-friendly.
The next commercial involved Jokic describing hotel customers with an NBA analogy. The highlight of the commercial, though, was his sly burn towards Watson, boasting that Jokic will never sit on the bench.
Jokic and Watson Bloopers
The Nuggets players both acted natural and comedic in the final commercial, however bloopers revealed by the crew say otherwise.
Jokic couldn’t help but crack a few laughs here and there, even saying excuses such as, “Give me a second! I need to get into the uh- acting character!” The bloopers also showed the Finals MVP cursing as he forgot his lines.
On top of that, NBA fans are surely loving Jokic and Watson’s time on camera.
The Nuggets are currently in third place in the Western Conference standings. They decided to give their fans an early present before the holidays.
