MK Dons manager Pleased With Marschall Loan From Villa

The 20-year-old goalkeeper moved out of Villa Park on Friday, joining the League Two side on loan until the end of the season.

The move will be Marschall’s third spell away with the last two coming at the same club – Gateshead.

MK Dons manager Williamson has previously worked with Marschall at Gateshead and insists that the goalkeeper is a great guy to work with.

The manager further took time to give an insight into the goalkeeper, who he feels will be a dominant figure on the pitch.

“Firstly, he’s a great guy to work with, and a very mature lad for such a young age”, Williamson told his club’s official website.

“Both times I’ve previously signed him, I could see the improvement and the potential he’s got.

“He’s a great character, great with the ball at his feet and is a physical unit too.

“He’ll be dominant, and it creates a healthy competition in the squad.”

Williamson further took time to express his gratitude towards Aston Villa for allowing the loan to happen.

“We’re very grateful to Aston Villa for the loan and hopefully we can repay them with the growth in him.”

Marschall has played for Aston Villa’s first-team, having featured in the Europa Conference League, though he is yet to earn his debut in the Premier League.
