Miley Cyrus’ Career-Defining Smash Is On The Rise Again
Miley Cyrus changed the trajectory of her career in early 2023 when she unleashed “Flowers” onto the world. The single wasn’t just another hit–it was the biggest smash in the world for a long time. It may forever rank as the grandest and most successful tune in her discography.
Well over a year and a half after the tune was released, it’s on the rise again. “Flowers” grows on three charts at once in the U.K., where it is quickly becoming a bestseller and a strong streamer once more.
“Flowers” rises highest on the Official Singles Downloads ranking, which tracks the bestselling individual downloads in the U.K. This frame, Cyrus’ winner rockets from No. 34 to No. 16.
The single manages almost the identical trajectory on the Official Singles Sales tally. That ranking looks at all sales, not just downloads, so it’s not uncommon for the two rosters to look fairly similar. “Flowers” currently appears at No. 18 after sitting down at No. 36 last frame.
“Flowers” doesn’t rise nearly as high on the Official Streaming chart, though it’s still improving its stature. The song currently ranks at No. 82 on the list of the most-streamed tunes of any style in the country.
Cyrus’ Grammy-winning hit has spent the same number of weeks on all three charts. That’s quite the coincidence, especially after so much time has passed. “Flowers” has now lived on the three tallies for 84 weeks.
