Leeds United’s 20year-0ld complete loan exit deal

Leeds United defender Kris Moore has completed a loan move to Scottish Premier League outfit Hibernian, according to TEAMtalk.

The UK news outlet shared on 9 January that the young 20-year-old defender has agreed to join Hibs on loan until the end of the season and has joined up with the club in their warm weather training camp in Dubai.

The 20-year-old has been a regular with the Leeds’ Under-21s side and was rewarded for his fine form with a new two-year deal over the summer.

Moore is a player that comes highly-rated but has become a victim of the strength in depth that Daniel Farke has at Elland Road.

His best position has been central defence but he is obviously behind all of Liam Cooper, Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk and Charlie Cresswell as well as probably fellow youngster Diogo Monteiro.

The fact that Cresswell can’t even get into the Leeds United side right now certainly served as a reminder to Moore that he needed to go out on loan to gain the experience he needed.

To play in the Scottish Premiership up against the likes of Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen should serve as a great opportunity for the highly-rated youth product to mature and develop his game even further.

If he is ever going to make it at Elland Road in the first-team then he needs to show what he’s capable of, and he likely won’t ever get a better opportunity than this to do exactly that.

Cresswell should seriously be joining him in making the temporary move elsewhere to develop his game considerably.
