Lakers: Insider Reveals Potential Trade Partners For LA

At 12-9, your Los Angeles Lakers are hardly looking like the world beaters many of us had hoped they could be, thanks to the pieces they have around stars Anthony Davis and LeBron James — a combination of the quality players they retained over the summer and the solid new pickups LA team president Rob Pelinka signed.

Beyond the already well-established Chicago Bulls, who have several veteran pieces worth a look, there are several other clubs that could have some appetizing fits for a Los Angeles Lakers roster struggling to defend on the perimeter or create enough offense with LeBron James on the bench.

Per Jovan Buha of The Athletic, LA will be monitoring the progression of clubs like the Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Toronto Raptors, Utah Jazz and Washington Wizards as the February trade deadline approaches, in the hopes of seeing what other veteran players can potentially be snagged should any of those clubs
