New baseball team coming to Trustmark Park after departure of M-Braves
PEARL, Miss. (WLBT) – The city of Pearl and Trustmark Park officials have revealed future plans for the stadium and the arrival of a new team following the Mississippi Braves’ final home series.

After playing in the park for 19 years, it was revealed in January that the 2024 season would be the last for the M-Braves in Pearl, with the Atlanta Braves AA affiliate leaving for Columbus, Georgia.
They played their last game in Trustmark Park on Sunday.
According to the M-Braves, around 3,581,517 fans attended at least one Mississippi Braves baseball game during the nearly 20-year tenure in Pearl.
The arrival of a new baseball team with the Frontier League – a professional baseball league considered an MLB Partner League – was announced during the home finale on Sunday.
