Baseball fans are gearing up for an exciting 2024 All-Star Game set to take place in Texas. This time next year, fans will be doing the same in preparation for those same festivities in Atlanta. With that in mind, the Atlanta Braves are taking their first public steps in announcing details for the 2025 midsummer classic.
The Atlanta Braves have announced that on July 22nd the team will host a pregame parade featuring appearances from Braves All-Star alumni. Fans are encouraged to line up the battery for the pregame celebration on the day they host the Cincinnati Reds.
Perhaps the biggest news that will come from the July 22nd celebration is the unveiling of next year’s All-Star Game logo. In today’s minimalist design society, the All-Star Game logo doesn’t stand much of a chance at being unique. Fans won’t know much about the actual uniforms and other important information until next season, so seeing the ASG logo is a nice early reward for fans.
However, the bottom line is that it’s nice to just have the All-Star Game back in Atlanta period. We haven’t hosted an All-Star Game since 2000, when the Braves were still at Turner Field. If you remember the Braves were set to host the All-Star Game in 2021, until MLB removed Atlanta as the host city.
Fans are hopeful that at least a few Braves make the NL All-Star squad headed for Arlington this season. However, many fans would love to have the 2025 ASG represented by as many Braves players as possible. Ticketing information is already available for fans here.
Either way hosting the premier regular season event MLB has to offer is an exciting opportunity for the city of Atlanta. Stay tuned here at House That Hank Built for any and all 2025 All-Star Game updates.
