A Wrexham transfer target has just received high praise from a Premier League manager

It has been a busy summer for Wrexham with manager Phil Parkinson keen to improve the quality of his squad.

Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are keen to provide Parkinson with the signings he needs.

The Red Dragons have secured five new players in the summer window so far.

George Dobson, Callum Burton, and Aston Villa gem Sebastian Revan have recently signed in North Wales. With goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo and Leicester City defender Lewis Brunt joining the club earlier this summer.

After the recent injury blow to key man Paul Mullin, the former Sunderland manager has been linked with potential attacking options.

After a successful loan spell with Okonkwo last campaign, Wrexham may return to the Premier League for a loan move with interest in Tottenham Hotspur striker Will Lankshear to solve the Mullin issue.

However, the Red Dragons will face tough competition for the loan signing of Lankshear with Championship sides Sunderland and Hull City also keen on the Tottenham youngster.

If Wrexham were able to secure the loan signing of Lankshear it would be shrewd business with the Premier League youngster rated highly at the North London club.

The young striker featured in Tottenham’s pre-season friendly fixture against Scottish side Hearts. The 19-year-old managed to impress and score a goal in the 5-1 victory.

After the game, in Ange Postecoglou’s press conference, the Spurs manager was full of praise for the academy star.
