Insider Identifies Bulls’ Main Trade Priority

The Chicago Bulls were hoping to make a run this season with the core of Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan.

But, it seems clear that is not going to happen.

The Bulls have been one of the worst teams in the NBA to begin the year and all signs point to them selling their star players.

Chicago has a record of 5-14 and has shown no signs of improvement.

It has become clear that this team will look very different in a few months.

The one player the Bulls want to be aggressive in moving is LaVine.

He no longer fits into their plans, and the Bulls are hoping to get a lucrative package of players/picks in return.

According to K.C. Johnson via NBACentral, the Bulls’ main priority is to trade LaVine before anyone else.

LaVine is having another strong season scoring the ball.

He averages 21.0 points per game to go along with 4.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

He would be a welcomed sight to any team in need of a number two option.

Some teams that should be interested are the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, and Miami Heat.

Each could use another scoring threat to help push them into the upper echelon of teams.

We should see the trade talks around LaVine pick up soon.

Even though the trade deadline is not until February, this seems like a move that could happen sooner than later.
