Injured Crystal Palace Star physically fit and his expected return

Well, the 49-year-old came out to meet the England international as he arrived in the car park at Copers Cope.

Glasner says hello to Eze, before the 25-year-old returns the welcome and asks how the man from Salzburg is.

After the initial greeting, an interesting exchange was heard around the 1:28 minute mark of Crystal Palace’s video.

Glasner mutters something inaudible but looks down to Eze’s leg, to which the attacking midfielder responds “I am okay now, I’m good” – the fact this was after the pair had already shared an initial greeting strongly suggests these comments were fitness related, in our view at least.

The £16m man has been struggling with a hamstring injury of late – which occurred during the win over Sheffield United – and missed the Premier League clashes against Brighton, Chelsea and Everton as a result.

However – judging by what Eze said to Glasner – we could be about to witness the Crystal Palace No.10 return to action.

In our view, Glasner will use Eze as a left sided No.10 behind Jean-Philippe Mateta, with Michael Olise lining up as a right sided No.10 when he regains full fitness.

We recently detailed how the Austrian could set his Crystal Palace side up beyond the attack too, with Tyrick Mitchell and Daniel Munoz in wing-back roles like we witnessed against Everton.

Adam Wharton and Cheick Doucoure – when fit – will act as holding midfielders and cover spaces left by the aforementioned duo.
