‘How I love you’… Romero raves about 24-year-old Tottenham player

Tottenham Hotspur had to wait a while to get back in action, but they did so in winning fashion on Saturday.

Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs lost to Wolves two weeks ago and, with last week’s Chelsea game being postponed, they’ve had to wait a fortnight until playing again.

Tottenham hosted Crystal Palace in North London and ran out 3-1 winners, coming from behind to sweep the Eagles away.

Palace opened the scoring in the 59th minute through a superb Eberechi Eze free kick, which left Spurs fans dreading a repeat of the Wolves result.

However, Tottenham equalised in the 77th minute through Timo Werner and never looked back, with Cristian Romero and Son Heung-min also getting on the scoresheet.

After such a good result, you tend to see players taking to social media to celebrate the victory, and Pedro Porro did just that a few hours after full-time.

The 24-year-old – who missed the game through injury – took to Instagram with the caption ‘3 points + N17 + the best center back in the world’, with Romero also in one of the pictures.
