HOW 49ers Receiver Took Massive Shot At Dolphins’ Tua Tagovailoa

The Miami Dolphins have already been eliminated from the playoffs, and San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Willie Snead thinks quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is the problem.

During the Dolphins’ Wild Card Round playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs this past Saturday, Snead took to social media to throw a shot at Tagovailoa.

“The Dolphins will be good when Tua stop acting soft AF,” Snead posted on his X account.

It’s rather strange that Snead opted to bash Tagovailoa, considering Tagovailoa plays in an entirely different conference and has no association with Snead. However, Snead is far from the only person who does not think that Miami’s signal-caller is up to snuff.

Many fans and media pundits feel that Tagovailoa is merely a product of receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle and that he does not have the raw talent needed to actually be an elite NFL quarterback.

Tagovailoa went 20-for-39 with 199 yards, a touchdown and an interception in what ended up being a 26-7 loss in brutally cold weather against the Chiefs.

That came after a regular season in which the 25-year-old led the league with 4,624 passing yards while throwing 29 touchdowns and 14 picks. He completed 69.3 percent of his passes while posting a passer rating of 101.1, earning a Pro Bowl selection for his efforts.

Statistically, there is no doubt that Tagovailoa has put together back-to-back impressive regular seasons, but whether or not he actually has the ability to lead the Dolphins on a Super Bowl run remains to be seen.

Apparently, Snead does not think the University of Alabama product is capable of doing so.

Snead was once a solid receiver during his New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens days earlier in his career, but he is an afterthought in the 49ers’ offense. He logged just two catches for 14 yards this season.

San Francisco will face the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round next week.

Meanwhile, Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins will head into the offseason with plenty of questions.
