GOOD NEWS: Ravens QB Lamar Jackson receives legendary praise from Tom Brady

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was a recent guest on the “Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray” podcast.

Jackson shared with Brady his mindset when he is trailing in games. He noted that he continues to draw inspiration from the New England Patriots’ dramatic Super Bowl 51 win over the Atlanta Falcons, when Brady led his team back from a 28-3 deficit in the contest. The sixth-year passer said that no matter the margin of deficit in a game, he can lead a comeback win because “Tom Brady came back and beat the Falcons in the Super Bowl.”

On Brady’s part, there is much that stands out to him about Jackson’s play.

“I feel that way watching you play,” Brady said. “I don’t think you’re ever out of it. “You’ve got the ability to inspire your teammates by your action, by your words, and your humility, and your toughness, and your courage. Not only your skill set, everybody can see that.

“To me, it’s your intangibles that make you special. You’re never gonna lose that. You just do more of that and you’re gonna have incredible success. I love seeing it. Keep it up.”

Jackson has tallied a total of eight fourth quarter comeback wins with the Ravens.

Jackson and the Ravens will open up their postseason run by hosting a playoff game in the AFC Divisional Round.
