A youth product of French clubs ESA Brive and Toulouse, Tibidi signed his first professional contract with Stuttgart in 2021, joining Rheindorf Altach in Austria on loan for the 2022/23 season one year later.
In January 2023, City Football Group’s Troyes signed Tibidi on a contract until the summer of 2027, however his first move away from the French side has been a disastrous one, and now sparked a move to the club at the very top of the City Group chain.
That is according to the information of RMC Sport, as translated and relayed by Sport Witness, who report that the Troyes forward is set to join Manchester City on a loan agreement until the end of the ongoing season.
The report claims that after failing to gain any minutes on loan at NEC Nijmegen in Holland during the first-half of the season, the idea is now for the player to play with Manchester City’s under-23 squad at the Etihad Stadium.
From a first-team perspective however, RMC Sport suggest that Tibidi would also ‘sometimes train’ with Pep Guardiola’s squad over the course of the next six months, handing him a golden opportunity to impress the best in the business.
Manchester City will be all too keen to see the services of a fresh talent in their Elite Development Squad this season, as they find themselves rock bottom of the Premier League 2 division having played 11 games so far this campaign.
