Everton midfielder Amadou Onana wants to move to Aston Villa and has already agreed personal terms, according to Ben Jacobs.
The Give Me Sport journalist reported on X on 13 July that Unai Emery has spoken to the Belgian personally over a move to Villa Park.
The two clubs are now in the process of finalising an agreement and the 22-year-old is expected to follow the likes of Ben Godfrey and Lewis Dobbin out of the door this summer.
Jacobs wrote: “Amadou Onana has already agreed personal terms with Aston Villa ahead of proposed £50m move from Everton.
“Club-to-club agreement is being finalised, as @David_Ornstein called. Onana already spoke to Unai Emery.”
Everton should be demanding more for Amadou Onana’s services
The Toffees should demand a higher fee for Onana due to his potential and the current market conditions and Villa can certainly afford it as they’re backed by billionaires Nassef Sawiris and Wesley Edens.
At 22 years old, the Belgium international has already shown significant promise and has attracted interest from several top clubs.
His performances for the Merseyside outfit and Belgium demonstrate his ability to compete at a high level, making him a valuable asset.
Moreover, the club’s financial situation suggests that the club could benefit from maximising the transfer fee for Onana.
