Disabled fan paid $1,111 for ‘Meet & Greet’ with Chris Brown

Disabled fan debunks rumours Chris Brown paid for the session ticket fee

A physically challenged woman identified as Karell Russell, who became an internet sensation after her ‘Meet & Greet’ photos with Chris Brown went viral, has reacted to the rumours that the singer gifted her $10,000 after refunding the $1,111 she paid for the session.

The rumours went viral after an X user with the handle @lushhotz tweeted: “This woman paid $1,111 for a ‘Meet & Greet’ with Chris Brown. When he saw her, he refunded her money and also gave her an extra $10k, along with these beautiful pictures.”

Reacting in a video message shared via her TikTok page, Russell insisted that she paid for the session.

“What I’m not okay with is strangers on the internet using my face and exploiting my disability for likes and clicks while spreading misinformation. That, we not gonna do,” she said.

“Just like everyone else, I support Chris as a brand and as an individual, so if you see me at a show or meet and greet, please know that I paid for my ticket. I paid to get there.”
