The NBA champion, Bruce Brown of the Toronto Raptors, is reportedly being eyed by the Denver Nuggets. According to Chris Haynes, “I was told that the Denver Nuggets would love to have Bruce Brown back…they just don’t have the picks to try to do that…That’s something to keep an eye on down the road.”
He spent the 2022–2023 season with the Denver Nuggets and assisted the team in clinching the NBA championship in 2023 and they were able to defeat the Miami Heat.
Brown had signed a two-year, $45 million contract with the Indiana Pacers during the offseason. This season, he is set to earn $22 million. For the next season, he also has a team option worth $23 million.
The Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks are other teams that are considered potential landing clubs for Brown as well. Haynes has also shared via the SI, “The Raptors are receiving an abnormal amount of calls regarding (Brown).”
Further sharing: “I don’t think they’ll have a problem at all getting a first and a player back in return.”
Brown is having an average of 12.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.3 blocks this season. His shooting percentage is 47.9 from the floor and from the arc, it is 32.1%.
He is with the Toronto Raptors currently and he came from the Indiana Pacers and was involved in the Pascal Siakam deal. The Raptors are in the 12th spot in the Eastern Conference and the season is 16-27.
