Chiefs update Hall of Honor at Arrowhead Stadium with an addition every fan will love
It’s becoming a yearly tradition, it feels, for the Kansas City Chiefs to update their trophy case. After back-to-back Super Bowl wins, the Kansas City Chiefs have taken time out of their busy offseason schedule to dust off the trophies in the trophy case as they open it up for a new addition.
Finally, on Friday, as the eagerly awaited NFL schedule release passed, the Chiefs staff found a moment of respite from their busy offseason schedule. It was time for a cherished tradition-the unveiling of a new addition to the trophy case.
The newest Lombardi Trophy from the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers is back in Kansas City, where it belongs. The Chiefs have placed it in the trophy case in the Hall of Honor in Arrowhead Stadium.
First, it’s beautiful, and obviously, four trophies in the case look much better than three. Second, I noticed the t-shirt, which I’m sure everyone else noticed as well. It’s awesome that the Chiefs have decided to place the “In Spags We Trust” t-shirt that safety Justin Reid has made so very famous now.
The Chiefs should make this a yearly tradition and do the same in 2024-25.
