Kevon Looney, a nearly ten-year Warriors veteran and three-time NBA champion, is slated to be released by the Golden State Warriors, according to a report from Tim Kawakami of The Athletic. In a Warriors Plus Minus podcast episode, Kawakami broke the news.

Additionally, Kawakami suggested that Looney might wind up playing backup center for teams like the San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets, both of which would be excellent fits for Looney.
For the last ten years, Kevon Looney has been among the Golden State Warriors’ most dependable players. He joined the squad in 2015, has three championships under his belt, and once played in 290 straight games. He has been asked to do pretty much everything the Golden State Warriors have asked of him, including starting, starting off the bench, guarding centers and power forwards.
Should this is Kevon Looney’s last season with the Warriors, he will be the most underappreciated player on the team in the previous ten years.
