Birmingham City, Wrexham, Huddersfield Town, Rotherham United and Shrewsbury Town will all be playing League One football when the 2023/24 campaign comes around.
The Blues, Millers and Terriers were all relegated from the Championship while the Red Dragons join Salop in the third-tier after sealing back-to-back promotions.

They’ll all be looking to add to their ranks this summer, with Rotherham United already making serious inroads in their bid to bounce out of League One at the first time of asking.
The Shropshire Star reports that Rotherham are heading the pursuit for out-of-contract Shrewsbury Town goalkeeper Marko Marosi, who is yet to pen the new deal offered by Paul Hurst’s side.
Birmingham City, Wrexham and Huddersfield Town are also in for the 30-year-old ‘keeper, but it’s the Millers who are ‘closest’ to getting him through the door as things stand.
Since joining in the summer of 2021, Slovakian goalkeeper Rodak has been a key player for Shrewsbury Town.
As such, with some of League One’s big guns keen, it might be a surprise to see him on the move this summer. He looks ready to join a side fighting it out towards the top of the division and all of Birmingham City, Wrexham, Rotherham United and Huddersfield Town will be looking to do just that.

On a free transfer, he’d be a shrewd signing for any third-tier team in the market for a ‘keeper, though their gain looks set to be Shrewsbury’s loss.
With such upwardly mobile sides keen, Marosi may well be working his way back to the Championship.
He only played 20 times in the second-tier while on the books with Coventry City but having taken his League One appearance total to 220, the former Doncaster Rovers man may get a shot at adding to his Championship tally if he can get promoted with his next club.
Rotherham United look to be in the driving seat as Steve Evans continues his rebuild in South Yorkshire, but Birmingham City, Wrexham and Huddersfield Town are all intriguing options as Marosi looks set to start afresh after three impressive years in Shropshire.
