The Miami Dolphins are sustaining injuries at the absolute worst time of the season, and they are now piling up after another brutal loss to the Buffalo Bills .
In the past few weeks the Dolphins have sustained so many injuries at linebacker position and on the defense. They already were missing Raheem Mostert and Jaylen Waddle in The Bills matchup and should hopefully have them back against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The list of injured players is stacking up now and what is a very tall task to go into Arrowhead and win in the playoffs will now be even tougher without tons of their studs. In the Dolphins game against the Bills two more crucial defensive players got hurt and it does not look good for their chances to play in their first playoff game.
This could not be a worse time for the injuries to pile up as the Dolphins have had an amazing season and it would be a shame if they are not even healthy enough to compete in the playoffs because of injury.
Miami Dolphins List Of Injured Players
Linebacker Bradley Chubb is out for the year now with a torn ACL and he is a huge blow to the defense as he was having an amazing year. Linebackers Cameron Goode and Jaelen Phillips are both out for the season after suffering injuries so the linebacker position has just been decimated for Miami.
Then, to make matters even worse, the Dolphins lost two more linebackers. They had to sign a few players just to have players at that position after Andrew Van Ginkel and Jerome Baker both got hurt and are out for the post season. With all of those brutal injuries, it also seems that Xavien Howard will also not be available for their first playoff game.
With Jaylen Waddle and Raheem not playing the past few games and now returning for their first playoff game, and having all of these crucial defensive pieces out it would be truly special for Miami to go into Kansas City and knock of the defending champions. It may just not be feasible at this point when they will have players in in this game that have not been with the team all season.
Baker took to twitter to share his feelings about the injury and giving confidence to his teammates as they move forward to the playoffs. Sadly the injuries have just piled up at the wrong time for Miami, and a huge part of post season success is health. So things are not looking up for them as they go into the post season. Just three weeks ago this team was playing for the 1 seed and now it looks like, baring a miracle, they will be one and done in the post season.
