The Ravens fell just short of their Super Bowl goal in 2023, after a stellar regular-season performance. The Chiefs, on the other hand, have now rattled off two consecutive Super Bowl wins, and hope to become the first team in NFL history with three straight.
Some sportsbooks are already releasing odds for next year’s Super Bowl winner, and of course, the two participants from this year – the Chiefs (+750) and 49ers (+550) – take the top two spots.
The Ravens fall in line with the third-best odds of winning Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Feb. 9, 2025 per DraftKings Sportsbook.
3. Baltimore Ravens (+900)
“Baltimore has two-time (and reigning) MVP Lamar Jackson and an outstanding defense. Even in a crowded AFC North, the Ravens are still among the favorites to win the Super Bowl next year after a season with the best record in the NFL and an AFC championship game appearance.”
The Ravens have a few things going for them this season too.
Let’s look at some numbers. The Ravens won their two Super Bowls 12 years apart. Next season will be 12 years since the last one. Also, Super Bowl LIX is in New Orleans at the Superdome, the same place where Baltimore last hoisted the Lombardi Trophy.
And if we look at the talent on the roster, it’s not going anywhere. Even with some probable departures through free agency, the core of last year’s team will remain in place.
And that talent on the offensive side of the ball will be in Year 2 of offensive coordinator Todd Monken’s offense, making quarterback Lamar Jackson even more explosive and efficient than he was this year.
