Answer needed for the major Lucas Paqueta injury question

The Hammers look likely to face a full strength Arsenal team when they line up for this afternoon’s London derby making life as tough as it gets whilst a big Lucas Paqueta injury question needs an answer.

The Gooners will give late checks to both Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko. However, Bukayo Saka is expected to be available for the Gunners.

We have just Lucas Paqueta and Mikey Antonio injured although the Brazilian midfielder is a massive loss in reality.

And one has to wonder how on earth he was allowed to play in the FA Cup clash against Bristol City having been declared fit before crashing out of the game in injury. The finger points somewhere for sure.

It has now been four weeks plus since we have seen him action and it is clear how much we depend on the player to bring out the best in the likes of Mo Kudus and Jarrod Bowen.

It means there is so little creativity availability to the squad and that in turn leads to far fewer chances which by and large have been missed when they rarely appear.

We have been told by sources close to him that he could be missing for another three weeks although Antonio may be ready for a return against former club Nottingham Forest next weekend.
