“Absolute carnage” – Wenham wowed by enormous powerhouse set to join Tottenham

John Wenham of Lilywhite Rose believes Luka Vuskovic has the right qualities to cause “carnage” for Tottenham when he arrives in the Premier League.

Vuskovic will join Tottenham in 2025 after he turns 18 having signed for the club from Hajduk Split for a fee of £12million (Evening Standard, 25 September).

As for now, the centre-back is playing his football on loan in Poland with Radomiak Radom where he recently demonstrated the threat he poses in the box by scoring in back-to-back matches for the club.

And Wenham believes that Vuskovic has the right qualities to act as a goalscoring threat when he arrives in the Premier League.

Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Wenham, the founder of reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, said: “I have been really impressed by what I have seen from Vuskovic so far.

“He scored in back-to-back games for Radomiak Radom, and for both goals, he caused absolute carnage in the penalty area.

“Those goals will be really good for his confidence. You don’t see many 17-year-olds scoring those types of goals in a top European league.”

Luka Vuskovic will hope to make an instant impression on Ange Postecoglou when he arrives at Tottenham

Having goalscoring threats all over the pitch is incredibly useful in the Premier League, and Vuskovic is certainly demonstrating he could be just that for Spurs.

At the age of 17, his height and physicality are both incredibly impressive, and he has so far shown no signs of struggling to adapt to senior football.

If Vuskovic continues to develop in the right way he could become a real physical presence in the Tottenham team for years to come.

When the Croatian does join up with Ange Postecoglou’s squad, he will be keen to quickly prove that he can be a real asset at both ends of the pitch.
