£11m star is keen to return to play for Everton next season
The amount of options on the table available to Jack Harrison in the summer transfer window probably only increased after Leeds United lost the Championship play-off final in May.
Jack Harrison spent this past season on loan at Everton due to a clause in the £11 million man’s Leeds contract which became active after the Whites were relegated from the Premier League in 2023.
Harrison went on to contribute three goals and three assists as Sean Dyche’s men managed to remain in the top-flight, but it is not yet clear whether Everton would look to sign him permanently.
The good news for Everton is that Harrison is, once again, able to leave Elland Road on loan next season after Daniel Farke’s side fluffed their lines at Wembley when they were one game away from returning to the Premier League.
Jack Harrison keen to stay at Everton next season
And according to a report from the Daily Mail, Harrison is keen to stay at Goodison Park.
The news may be welcomed at Everton, with the Mail reporting that the Toffees will have to be clever in the transfer market as they look to bring players in.
Toffees considering another loan move which makes perfect sense
It appears to be a no-brainer for Everton to make a move now that Leeds will not be coming up next year, particularly as it will not take up one of their two Premier League loan spots.
Interestingly, it appears that one of Harrison’s former teammates could take up one of those spots, with the Mail noting that Everton also want Kalvin Phillips.
Danny Murphy suggested that Phillips appears to be an ideal target for Everton after such a difficult time with Manchester City and West Ham United over the last two years.
If Everton could go into next year with Phillips and Harrison in their ranks – with both players joining on loan – it could help them really kick on after what was, on the pitch, a promising year under Dyche.
