The following are today’s Mayo death and funeral notices.

NOEL HENEGHAN, BALLINROBE

Noel Heneghan, Cornmarket, Ballinrobe.

He died yesterday in the loving care of Abbey Breaffy Nursing Home.

Predeceased by his parents Jack, Ellen and his brother Fintan, he is deeply regretted by his loving family: brothers Joe (Spain), Finbar, Gerry (Australia), Enda, sisters Anne and Grace, sisters-in-law Mary (Australia), wife of Gerry, and Mary, wife of Enda, nephews, nieces Tara, Ryan, Ciara and Jack, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Saint Joseph’s Funeral Home, Ballinrobe, on Monday evening from 5.30 with removal at 7 p.m. to Saint Mary’s Church, Ballinrobe.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. with the funeral proceeding to the New Cemetery, Ballinrobe.

ANTHONY WALDRON, BALLYHAUNIS

Anthony Waldron, Clagnagh and formerly of Cave, Ballyhaunis.

Pre-deceased by his parents Val and Olive and his nephew Matthew Barnaville, he is deeply regretted by his loving family Mary Imelda (St. Lucia), Helen (Limerick), Pearse (Vermont), Sheila (Cave), Brendan (Clagnagh), twin brother Richard (Gurteenmore), Anita (Erriff), Paul (Cave), nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

PATRICK WALSH, CLAREMORRIS

Patrick (Paddy) Walsh, Ballinlough, Claremorris, and formerly of Coventry, England.

He died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Mayo Roscommon Hospice, Castlebar.

Predeceased by his father Martin Walsh (Blacksod) and his mother Josie Walsh (née Maguire) (Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim), Paddy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sisters and brothers Mary Gantley, (Gort, Co. Galway) Martin Walsh, (Coventry, England), Bridie Kilgallon (Claremorris), Margaret Edwards (Naas, Co. Kildare), John Walsh (Rugby, England), Nuala Grady (Rugby, England) and Carmel Kelly (Kenilworth, England); brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.

Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Peace & St. Gerald’s Church, Mayo Abbey, with interment in St Mary’s Cemetery, Drumlea, Co. Leitrim.

MARGARET LANGAN, BALLYCASTLE

Gretta (Margaret) Langan (née Higgins), Ballyknock, Ballycastle.

She died peacefully in her 101st year surrounded by her family, at the Moy Ridge Nursing Nome.

Sadly missed by her loving family: sons Dessie and Brendan; brother Jim; daughters-in-law Rose and Bridie; grandchildren, Sharon, Desmond, Raymond, Tracy, Sandra, Shane, Louise, Cathriona, and Darragh; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends, may her gentle soul rest in peace .

Reposing at Lynn’s Funeral Home, Killala, on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m.

Removal from her residence (Ballyknock ) on Tuesday to St. Bridget’s Church, Ballycastle, for Requiem Mass at 1 o’clock, followed by burial in Ballycastle cemetery.

MAUREEN O’REILLY, BALLINA

Maureen O’Reilly, Tom Clarke Place, and formerly of Roches Terrace, Ballina

Peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Tom and Mary and her brother Bernard, she is sadly missed by her sister-in-law Aggie O’Reilly, niece Bernie Cawley, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina, on Tuesday morning from 11 a.m. with removal at 12 noon to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballina, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12.30 p.m. with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

MARY POWER, BALLINA

Mary Power (née Loftus) of London and formerly of Bridge St, Ballina.

She died peacefully in London, on January 7.

Predeceased by her husband John Power (formerly of London, and Kilmeaden, Co Waterford), her parents Thomas and May Loftus (Bridge Street, Ballina), and brothers Tom, Frank and Seán Loftus.

Mary, beloved mother of Robert, Audrey and Michaela, mother-in-law to Birgit.

Sadly missed by her son and daughters, cherished grandma to Abi, Ben and Tim, brothers Msgr. Padraic Loftus (Los Angeles), Jim Loftus (Toronto), and Paul Loftus (Montreal), beloved sister-in-law to Elaine and Vivi; much-loved aunt to Fiona and Jess, Tom, Deborah and Kevin, and Mary-Lynne, and to Eamon, Emer, Ronan, Brona, Miriam and Lee, and all of their children; as well as cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina, on Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. with removal at 6.30 p.m. to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11.30 a.m. followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery.
