Old man robbed in Coventry boarding a bus as three people sough

It happened at The Burges in Coventry Police have launched a hunt for three suspects after an elderly man was robbed in Coventry. It happened as he boarded a bus on The Burges.

Detectives investigating the incident said the victim had his wallet removed from his pockets as he boarded the 5A bus on The Burges. Cash was stolen, according to Coventry Police.

It happened at around 12.30pm on Sunday, March 24. Anyone who recognises the three people pictured has been urged to call 101.

A spokesman for Coventry Police said: “Do you recognise these people? We want to speak to them after an elderly man had money stolen from him in Coventry.

“At 12.30pm on March 24, the man boarded the 5A bus at The Burges stop, where his wallet was removed from his pockets and the contents stolen. If you were in the area at the time, or think you can help identify this trio, contact us via 101 or Live Chat quoting crime number 20/330921/24.”
