Everton defender Vitaliy Mykolenko injury claim shared as footage emerges v Liverpool
Everton defender Vitaliy Mykolenko may have aggravated his ankle injury by playing on against Liverpool, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert gauged the footage that emerged from the Merseyside derby which showed a clear spain to his ankle.
Sean Dyche confirmed that it was a ligament injury and that he would not be returning again this season.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Mykolenko:
“With ankle inversion sprains, the video often doesn’t tell the story.

Mykolenko’s absence will give Ashley Young a chance to prove his worth at left-back, but come the start of next season, the Ukrainian is expected to be the first choice again.
