“I Just Want My Value To Be There.” – Ravens Safety Geno Stone Wants To Stay In Baltimore As Free Agency Looms Large
The Ravens were the best regular season team in 2023 and it was no coincidence that this occurred at the same time safety Geno Stone was performing on a regular basis.
Talking to NFL Network’s Patrick Claybon Tuesday on NFL Total Access he said, “At the end of the day, Baltimore is always home, but business is business.
The former Iowa product was selected in the seventh round of the 2020 draft and has slowly worked his way into the starting position.
“You know that being in this league this long. I’ve been through it all, especially my rookie year. I just want to be somewhere I’m appreciated, you know, who wants me and for me to be a starter, whatever it may be. I just want my value to be there.”
Stone is entering free agency but would love to stay in Baltimore.
He stared in 11 games in the last season making 68 tackles, generating seven interceptions and earning nine passes defended.
Stone will be out to cement his name in the framework of the Ravens for the foreseeable future.
