GOOD NEWS: Leeds United loanee’s £20m exit….

Leeds United loanee’s £20m exit clause could be ripped up, he might return in the summer

Jack Harrison has impressed on loan at Everton from Leeds United after using the relegation loan clause to return to the Premier League with the Toffees – but a buyout clause may be ripped up.

Harrison, 27, has had a hand in seven goals in 23 games in all competitions for Sean Dyche’s side this season. He’s scored four goals and laid on a further three assists, including a goal in his last outing.

A 2-2 draw with Tottenham. He also scored against former side Manchester City. Harrison’s loan does not include a permanent clause, but he has a buyout option which can be triggered during the loan.

Everton and Leeds have agreed on a £20m fee. Sean Dyche says he’d like to sign Harrison beyond his loan spell. But now, TeamTalk say that option gets ripped up if Leeds gain promotion back to the top tier.

Leeds of course, sit in third place in the Championship table. Automatic promotion, or promotion via the play-offs, remains a distinct possibility. Harrison then, could end up returning to Leeds next season.

Everton: Next Jack Harrison clause emerges after 'bizarre' turn of events

Of all the players who went out on loan, you would say that Harrison would be the one that is the one that can be forgiven. The winger gave five years of his career to Leeds, helping us gain promotion.

He played a key part in the Whites staying in the Premier League, having a hand in 37 goals in 107 games for Leeds in the top tier. Of all the players out on loan, he’d be the one to forgive the easiest.

Whether Everton want to, or are even able to, buy Harrison permanently in the summer remains to be seen given their current financial status. Harrison could return and go to another club in the summer.
