Jack Harrison’s Leeds United transfer stance revealed after frustrating clause update – Report

Leeds United winger Jack Harrison is not expected to be back at the club this summer after jumping ship on loan to Everton, and he is keen to return to Goodison Park for next term.

Leeds’ failure to return to the Premier League this season means they will have to make sacrifices in the transfer market going forward.

An issue for the 49ers to get a hold of is those players who have seen loan deal conclude recently, some of them allowed straight back out.

Jack Harrison allowed to leave again on loan this summer

It was revealed by LeedsAllOver previously that Marc Roca wasn’t the only player in the squad to have an additional loan clause that became active after Wembley defeat.

Now, it has emerged that Jack Harrison is the player in question who can follow on from his Everton loan with another in the 24/25 season.

Signed by Sean Dyche, the 27-year-old winger was frequently involved as the Toffees steered well clear of relegation trouble despite their points deductions through the season.

Will Leeds get promoted next season?

What is Jack Harrison’s stance on Leeds exit to Everton?

The Daily Mail have now issued a transfer update on Harrison’s chances of moving back to Goodison Park for the 24/25 season.

They share that Harrison is keen to re-sign for the Merseyside club this summer, again exercising his clause to move away from Elland Road for free.

Harrison needs to leave permanently if it’s possible for Leeds

If it’s possible, Leeds should be looking to get a permanent fee for the winger, but his loan clause at Everton makes that very unlikely.

He clearly enjoyed his time at Goodison, despite the divided opinion from fans on his performances on the wing.

If Dyche is happy with him, I’d expect that the Toffees board are eager to get a deal tied up to keep him there for another season.
