Samuel Reed Moffatt, age 62, a lifelong resident of of Bloomington Indiana, passed away November 25, 2024 at his residence. He was born March 15, 1962 to W. Robert Moffatt and Margaret Glasgow Weaver.
He was a 1980 graduate of Edgewood High School and spent his entire professional career at Indiana University in the control center.
Sam leaves behind his mother, Margaret and stepfather Harold Weaver, siblings, Dana Hoff, and husband Terry, Gayle Morris and husband, Ronnie, and Charles Moffatt as well as countless nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Winfred Moffat, and Helen Moffatt, and maternal grandparents, Mose Glasgow and Velma Glasgow, as well as he is father W. Robert Moffatt.
A gathering to celebrate Sam’s life will be held Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory 4155 S. Old State Rd. 37 from 2 PM until 5 PM.
